The first time I ever remember being overweight was in 5th grade (my sisters called me J.D.Hogg) but by the time I got to 6th grade it was gone because I shot up several inches. I stayed that way through the rest of my middle school years. By the time I was a freshman, I was 5'9 and 125 pounds. I was a cheerleader and my coach weighed us on a regular basis. My teammates were all 100 pounds or less so I thought I was a cow. I was too silly to realize that they were several inches shorter than me. When my mom reminded me of that fact, I thought she was just trying to spare my feelings. By the time I was a sophmore, I was still 5'9 and 140 pounds and there was one other girl on the squad that was the same weight as me yet she was less than 5ft tall. Silly me thought I was a cow because when  I looked at her, I thought I was seeing myself. I started starving myself until several people including my coach noticed that I looked awful and was tired and weak. I stayed at a fit and healthy 140 for the rest of high school. When I got into college, I gained the freshman 15 because I was eating the same but wasn't cheering anymore. I decided to cheer the following year and lost the 15 I gained. I stayed at that weight until right before my 21st birthday. I had a very traumatic experience happen and lost down to 131 but was happy because I hadn't worn a 3/4 or youth XL since 5th grade. Well, I got married and had two children and my weight fluctuated over the next 7 years. I tried everything from pills to weight watchers. The past 4 years, I've mostly gained weight. I was at my highest weight 1 week ago (3-10-09), 314.
