hi debra. I wish you all the best in the surgery and the new life! If there is a support group in Buffalo, find one and go! You will be amazed how strangers can become your strongest support. I went to Fairbanks (5 hrs drive away) and had WONDERFUL WLS family members there that just opened up their hearts to this lone WLSer. I'm praying for you!

Debra, you are wonderful! You have taken charge of your life and health. You care enough about yourself to go out and get healthy by having this surgery and you've done this all on your own. You are so worth it! Get that surgery you have fought so hard for and don't let anyone sabotage you as you lose all your excess weight. Imagine how you'll be looking byt this time, next year? WOW!
