Hello to everyone that has been worried about Debra like I have, well she is home from the hospital! She posted on a local message board, I hope she does'nt mind me sharing this with everyone. I am just so happy she is home and allright. Well this is what she posted...hi all, first off yes im sorry i do come on here with the same name kindof,just shortend.well,was suppose to come home on saturday,but did have a complication so they kept me till yesterday monday.wondering why im on here so late or so early,?well didnt realize until i went to sleep and woke up not breathing that i took my second dozage of meds too soon after first.im too scared to sleep now.called poisin control but they said i should be ok till i talk to the dr.anyways,had alot of fun walking the halls and laughing with katie.shes so funny.im exausted i will get back asap. Well I have messaged her and told her to maybe put her meds in little cups and put times on them so that does'nt happen again. Why dont we all stop by her page and give her our congratulations for making it to the "other side". Well Deb you are officially a loser!!!! Take care sweetie, and let me know if there is anything at all I can do for you. Amy

Ref: Debra Manus...... "PERSISTANCE" IS THE KEY WORD I called the hospital again,and asked to be connected to the nurse's station. Because I was not a "family" member, the receptionist first said that she could not do that, but when I explained that I'd been trying to make contact since last THURSDAY, she must have felt sorry for me, so did patch me through to the nurse's station. Unfortunately, all the nurses were busy, but I did speak with an aide. She put me on hold, and apparently went to see what was going on in Debra's room. The nurse was with her and she could not transfer my call into the room because Debra's phone was turned off !! I pushed the issue, explaining how worried we all were, and asked if there was a possibility that she was getting discharged today (since most of us go home after only 2-3 days, and it's been 5 for Debra). She did say :: YES--SHE IS DISCHARGED !! So, I suppose this is good news and hopefully we'll hear from her soon. Please, everyone---keep Debra in your thoughts and prayers. She didn't have much family support, so I know she'll appreciate all the good wishes..............Thanks.........Marilyn

Hi Deb, Hope this finds you home and recovering well; I tried to call you at the hospital several times; At first I was told your phone was turned off; then someone else gave me a different name and a "private" number direct to your room, however it rang busy/busy over and over. I really wanted you to know that I was thinking about you, and even though I'm in Virginia and you're way up in New York, you would know that you were not alone. PLEASE, soon as you can, at least post a couple of lines to let us know you're doing okay.

Debra, I am so happy for you, I hope your surgery was succesful with no complications, you are going to do great, just know in your heart that you can do it! if you need anything at all let me know, if its a shoulder to cry on, or a ear to listen I am here for you.
