Having wls is a big decision to make.....You have made the right one. CONGRATS!!.. Heres to an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery. It is the best thing I could have ever done for myself and I bet you'll feel the same way too. Remember small bites, chew like theres no tomorrow, get tons of H2O, and dont forget that protein! Happy re-Birthday!!!!

306-03OMG I HAVE MY DATE!!!!! IT FOR MARCH31.THEY JUST CALLED I SO VERY HAPPY .I HAVE TO CALL ALL MY KIDS AND MY BEST FRIEND IN FLA. I HAVE MY DATE THANK YOU GOD

3-5-03 Say the dr. last week hopeing to get my date.But got no wear . she is worryed about my b.p. said I had to see my pcp.So I did yesterday she know that I alway run high wheh I see a DR. I told her that I tryed to make Dr.Ferezoco see that but I got no wear with her. I even took my b.p. for a week to show her .I called her office today and told her nures what happened with my pcp.,she said she will let DrFerezoco know and get back to me.So here I sit waiting again and we haven.t even sent and of my paper work to my ins. yet so this will not happen this month I guess.

2-27-03 Today I say DR. Ferzoco. She say every thing is all set ( as far as all the test I had done).I passed them all. she does want me to see my PCP.One more time to try and get ny B.P better under control. I try ed to tell her it;s fine at home/ I alway read high when I visit the Dr. office.So I call my PCP and I can see her on 3-4 .Then Dr, Ferzoco office will call with my date, she said the end of March or the first week in April.So here I go again WAIT WAIT WAIT.

2-6-03I passed my stress test Dr. said with flying colors. Then I called my surgent and got a date to see her the 27 of this month.That should be it then I can start the ins. fight.

2-5-03 Tomorrow I go for my stress test .I hope that is the end of the testing. And I can get a date for wls.I;m still waiting for Apria Healthcare ( the place I got the cpap monster),to bring me the heater for it then I can use it.This whole journey has been so long.But I knopw I will reach the end of the tunnel soon.I will be on the loseing side

1-23-03 Saw the Dr. for my stress test and he set it up for Feb 6. Keep my fingers crossed I pass it. I also got the cpap and I hate it. It;s very hard to fall asleep with the mask on and it set way to high(I think) the guy who brought it said he had to get orders from the Dr. to reset it.So Ill call tomorrow for that . This sdhould be all that left to do . Then I will get my date if insurance ok it. That has been my biggest worry.

1-16-03 Went to see my DR. today .Went as i expected, I have to have a stress test.Had one about a year ago she want to make sure all is still ok. This I was not expecting, but with my family history its understanable(sp). I all so have to get a sleep machine( that I did expect. So I am bumed. But it will happen this I know. I did get through the holidays and lost 15lbs, she was happy abouth that. My best friend called just before I left for the Dr. Angel can always sence when I need her.Thank you Angel.So I;ll call my pcp tomorrow and get the test set up.God I hope they came be done soon.
