Well, I rec'd the notice in the mail that I have an appointment for my psychological evaluation on monday july 23rd...then it will be a waiting game at that point. Hopefully the insurance company will return an approval soon. The Dr's office said they have been getting results back from my insurance co in about 7 business days. I hope that is true with my approval......I have trying to get this since 2003, and I am ready to get started on my new life....will keep you informed of the next two phases of this journey..

i had my dr appointment on 6/25/07, and everything looks good. We have setup my nutrition class for 7/11/07..we are also scheduling my psych eval for the next few days, then all that is left is to hear frommy insurance, and schedule the surgery.....I will keep you up to date...

Well, I started my journey again...I went to a weight loss surgery seminar, on 6/20/07...now have my 1st consultation appointment With Dr. Classen on Monday 6/25/2007. We will then schedule my nutritionist appointment, and psycological eval, so that we can get the information to present to the insurance co for approval. Hopefully this journey will not have the dead end the previous journey had. I got thru all of this the 1st time, just to be denied due to an exclusion policy in the insurance with my employer...so now we have a new insurance, and there is not exclusion policy, just criteria to meet, which I have already done that once, so it should be a piece of cake this time. Or at least I hope so....will keep you up to date after my appointment to let you know when my evaluation and nutritionist appointment is.......
