I have always been overweight and really don't remember not being. When I see pictures of me from high school and college I think -man I wasn't that big. But by societies standards I was. Well, I have choosen to proceed with the Realize band. I attended the informational meeting on 9/22/08. I had lots of questions for Dr. Mitchell. On Oct. 6th I see my main doctor to discuss again and give the paperwork to her. I've researched and researched and I want to start the process. I'm understand what is involved and that I will change all my eating habits, exersice and lots of other changes. I'm ready! And so my journey to my new healthy life begins...soon
As of 1/28/09- I have changed from the Realize Band to the RNY.
