1 week out and have lost 22 lbs

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Webb   found out today he has a 06 Fatboy also.


Everything is going good.

Less than a week out and getting kinda nervous.  the pre-op diet is working.  Loswing some weight  and my fasting blodd sugar number is low as i have tested it.  80  this morning  was running 115-120.  Started walking   up and down my street hurt the first day   now getting 2 trips in.

I am ready for this.

Got calls from my surgeon today  April 16th is the date.

I'm looking so forward to this.  :)

I was apporved this morning to have the surgery.  back in November my PCP would not approve as my blood sugar was in the high 190's it has been a long 5 months and my sugar level has been in the low 100's.

Called my Biriatric team and they have submitted to my insurance company again and my surgery date should be in the next month.

Now to get on the ball and start excersing more and more before the procedure.

Posted yesterday about the wait, I started the process for WLS in August.  The physican I chose uses a bariatric team that helps schedule all tests and progress down the  list of things that I had to do.   They charged 2000.00 for this and is very worth it.  This included the Nut and the Psyc evaluations.  Plus support after the procedure.  

Just waiting now on the Insurace company.
