Hi Elizabeth, Good luck on Monday!! I am 18 days post op, I feel good and I have already lost 32 pounds!!!! CMC is a nice hospital, very clean, they offer you little extras like warmed blankets. The night nurses seem a little busy so I would remind them to check my drains and so on. I stayed comfortable in the hospital because I stayed on top of my pain meds, I kept track every 4 hours, and I would ask a few minutes ahead of time. The morning of my surgery I almost chickend out in the OR, I am so glad I didn't. Dr. Peters is the best! You are welcome to call me this weekend if you want any info or just to chat (607) 724-8464. Let the thin begin!!! Best Wishes, Jane D.

OK, the last post went thru before I said anything, best of luck on your upcoming surgery, 1st shift nurses are great, some on 3rd are not so great, remember to buz nurse early if you need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, it takes a while. Once I actually unhooked myself from the IV to go. 2 hours later someone came in. See you on the losers bench. Michele
