I am 29 years old 5'1 and 220 lbs, bmi-42. I have been struggled with my weight since the birth of my son, so I have pretty much been miserable all of my 20s. I have contemplated the idea of wls for the last three years, but seriosly considered it this year. The concrete decision was made when I picked my son up from school and he seemed upset. when asked him what was wrong, he replied that some of his friends were saying things about me. He would not tell me what, he said that it was just to awefull to repeat. So u can imagine what they said. So here I am. I had my first consult in the middle of May, and now I am scheduled for surgery on Aug. 11 2008.
