Well I am coming up on my two week post op recovery from RNY on 4/27/10.  I went through surgery with flying colors.  Dr. G said I was the fastest surgery he has ever done which was 45 minutes.  I dont think I was as proud of that fact as he was.......LOL.  The pain was pretty much comparable to my gallbladder surgery, but still had to have my pain medication at night to get a "good" nights sleep.  I have lost approximately 10 lbs since surgery which isnt near as much as I thought it would be by now, but am thankful for every lb lost!  I have only lost a little over 20 lbs so far, but since Im a shorty (5'1") I have already gone down 2 pantsizes.  I love it!

My approval for my tests and sleep study finally went through....now, hopefully, the next step doest take as long as it took me to get this far :o)
