Well with four days to go 
I'm not as nervous as I thought i would be. I guess I must be comfortable with my decision. I have my last pre op visit with my surgeonn today so its pretty real now. I've decided to vlog my wls journey on youtube in hopes to inspire someone else like me. So feel free to stop by my channel is Griltabby. I hope everyone is having a nice day TTFN.

Well I have been approved with a surgery date of September 28th. I wasn't expecting it to be to quick. I found out Thursday morning in bath and body works. i was the only customer in the store so they were giving me a lot of attention then my phone rang and I got the great news and stated to ball my eyes out in the store( OMG! how embarrassing ). So i have all of these emotions all at the same time. I'm happy, nervous, scared, anxious, and excited just all so crazy. I'm still not sure when or how I will tell my family but I'll figure it out. Alrightie then I'll keep you posted.

My PCP is 99.9% sure I do not have sleep apnea
Okay that's great but why can't I sleep. Well I can 
but I keep waking up and I'm so tired in the morning no matter what time I go to bed. So I'm thinking of asking for a sleeping pill that will help keep me asleep during the night.

So I had my sleep study two nights ago. I suck big fat monkey 
balls! My face was covered in tape. I had a wire thing in my nose and electrodes pasted to my scalp. The stupid paste was in my braids. And Sleeping 
on my back is soooo uncomfortable i'm a tummy and side sleeper. but the staff was great and the pillow were fluffy so it wasn't all bad. So now I'm waiting for my doc to email me the results and we'll go from there.

I meet my surgeon for the first time on the 14th. He seems fantastic! He is very down to earth and keep telling us that wls is a tool and that he will help us work our tool for the rest of our lives. That really make me comfortable with him, to know that he is in this with me for the long haul make me believe he cares about me and that I'm not just another fat person. My coworker also used Dr. Patching and she never has any thing bad to say about him. He is also the top laparoscopic surgeon in the Sacramento area. Next step one on one with Dr. Patching June 11th

Sleep Study

Well tomorrow night I go in for a sleep study. I'm not sure how they work so I'm kinda anxious. i haven't been sleeping well so my PCP set this up for me. And i guess It's a good thing to find out if i have sleep apnea too. I pretty sure I wont be able to sleep in a strange place but i'll keep you posted.
