"When I first listened to Dr. Harrington at a Pre-op Meeting, my first impression of him is that he is very calm, very thorough and very understanding of the problems obese people face. He explained the surgery and everything surrounding the surgery in a very thorough manner. My impression changed over time in that I became even more positive that he is very capable and that he is the surgeon for me; also because he is so patient and answered and still answers all my questions. He also addressed the issue of risks and I appreciated that part as well because we all know this is not perfect, but just a tool as Dr. Harrington emphasizes. Through his words I have learned that the rest is up to me. I rate him at A1, top of the line. I am thoroughly satisfied up to this point with him and his aftercare. You ask, which is better, I must say surgical competence for sure, but he also has a great bedside manner and therefore I have to say both are great!rnrnAt this point, I do not have anything negative to say about Dr. Harrington and I hope I never do.
