Long Recovery

Ok I had my surgery back on October 13, 2009. My surgery went bad and I was leaking from one of the connections of the large intestine. So I had another surgery on October 15, 2010. The after the surgery I had a feeding tube and two drainage tubes coming out of my stomach. I also developed nerve damage from being on the operating table for so long. Meralgia paresthetica is a condition that can cause burning pain over the front and outside of the thigh. There is a nerve that passes just over the brim of the pelvis and down the outside of the thigh. This nerve, called the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve, supplies the brain with information about sensation over the front and outside of the thigh. I also could not eat or drink for 2 months. It’s now March 7, 2010 and I’m still recovering. The feeding tube and drainage tube are removed. I am eating normally now with small portions. I started work on February 22, 2010. I hope this helps any one out there

October 13th Is The Date!

The date for the surgery will be October 13Th. I am very excited, I am not nervous at all. This news came with a bad day. I lost my wallet, my job sent me home do to hip pain. I will be out from Thursday all the way through the surgery and beyond.
I have to loose weight before the 13Th. They put me on a all liquid diet.
Today will be the last day ill have a real meal and a drink.

I was approved today for the surgery. Now all I have to do is see the Doctor next week. Yippee.

Started dieting, its really hard, i am hungry all the time, but I am eating alot but none of it is filling. I am on a 2,500 calorie diet, that's because my job is very active.
