I worked with a girl named Crimson. She told me what paperwork to provide, and she dealt with the insurance company. I was denied 4 times. The last time was because I did not have enough time with weight watchers or another commercial weight loss program. She filed again with the insurance company requesting that a non-partial 3rd party doctor review my case. I then got my approval letter. Dr. Nicholson works hand and hand with the Baylor Bariatric Program. I have a complete road map of what to expect. It includes everything, the pre-op test required, the items I need for the hospital, what to expect when I am recovering, and what he expects as far as seeing the nutritionist, going to supports meetings. etc. He has made me quite aware that this is live altering and is for the REST of my life."
