Well, I went to the seminar here in Houston for Dr. Wilson and his group. Unfortunately I did not get to meet him, another doctor lead the seminar but I found him funny and very knowledgeable, it was Dr. Snyder. Anyways, the seminar was full of great information and I have now decided 100% that the VSG is the perfect operation for me. Right now I'm like in limbo, at the seminar we had to fill out a form with our names, surgery we are interested in and what insurance we have. The group takes that information back to their office and calls all the insurance carriers to see who's eligible for what. I'm in that phase right now, I have no answers of anything yet. I called Medicaid today to see if I cld find out anything and they told me I needed the procedure codes, so I called back the Dr. office and the receptionist didn't have these codes. She put me through to the Dr.'s assistant and I had to leave a voice mail, (ugh) the waiting is the worst part so far, I feel helpless right now, but I have faith in God, so I know I must be patient. Will update more as we go, I want to keep records of all of these stages and throughout my weight loss.
