It's half marathon day for me. And my 40th birthday but that's not a big deal in comparison. It's really freaking cold

The knowledge that my dad won't be calling me tomorrow to wish me a happy birthday or good luck on my race has taken root. After physical therapy I might spend the rest of the day in bed feeling sorry for myself.

I'm back to needing to take pills 4 times a day. "Yay." So I need a better pill case. Preferably I want something that I can set up a week at a time but then carry 1 day's worth of pills with me so I'll remember to take pills while I'm out.

Today is a great day! Last night I did some research and I think I might have figured out why my throat has been feeling acidic! I'll share that info in a comment, though, because it's long.
