My name is Heather, I am 39 years old and I have been overweight since the age of 12. I have spent my life struggling with my weight always feeling like I was missing something but not quite sure what it might be because I had a great life but something was certainly off. I have tried every diet plan at least twice if not three times and like everyone I always lost a lot of weight but always gained it all back with some to add.
When I turned 21 I met my wonderful husband who has loved me for who I am and not what I look like, I was afraid to bring up the surgery at first because of how invasive it is but once I started working at Sacred Heart Hospital and found out how good the insurance was I decided that the time was right. Thomas has supported me the whole way and has even helped me put my page together.
I can not wait to embark on this leg of my journey through life...
