Some of you know I was super nervous before I had the surgery. Then after I had the surgery I was miserable for probably a mth and a half. I was depressed and I literally felt like I was dying inside..I had lost some of my personality...I just wasn't me at all!
Now I am soo happy I am better than the big me  and I'm not even all the way there yet. I had already lost part of me when I gained all that weight 10 ys ago. I have regained the old me. I have sooo much more confidence and self esteem! I am sooo happy now..I feel like I can go out and do anything :-)

Woohoo! I CRAMED my butt into a pair of 14 pants... Cramed meaning: I could use a tad more breathing room but, I'm still wearing them! From a 20/22 to a 14/16! I could have never gotten a 14 over my calves before..lol. I am sooo happy I had RNY!

So I went to the doctor the other day to buy some vitamins and I asked the girl if I could unofficially stand on the scale. It said 201 I haven't been 200 pounds in 9 yrs! I do feel that I could have done better though. I can do better but, I'm still very happy with the results.

My pants were all way to big on me at work last week! I had MAJOR saggy butt. I looked so sloppy! My supervisor said she was gonna start calling me Saggy Butt. So over the weekend I sent my husband in the basement to bring up an old tote of clothes. They fit!  They were all almost brand new. I gained weight pretty quick after I bought them.  Now I have like 15 pairs of new pants that fit! Well until I lose out of those which, don't get me wrong I'll be happy when I do!

I never really realized how addicted I was to food..until I had this surgery. I feel almost depressed sometimes because I can't eat or drink things I used to. It's sad that it makes me feel emotional like I wanna cry.
I am glad that I had the surgery because, I couldn't do it on my own and knowing that certain food could potentially make me sick  helps ALOT!

I had the best thing I have eaten in 3 wks..chicken salad. Anything that's not from the full liquid diet..I think it will be great. I was getting so tired of that diet. I couldn't wait to eat something else!! Finally I am almost there!

Ok I had my surgery 5 days ago. It went really well. I really didn't realize how much pain I was going to be in. It is alittle easier than a c-section though. Anyway while I was in the hospital I was constantly nausious and they wanted me to get up and walk. The pain meds they put me on the 1st day had me so drugged I could not function..at all. So the next day I was taken off and didn't get anymore pain meds til the next day and then everything went great. After I got the new pain meds I was walkin the halls like crazy and the Dr.'s right you feel so much better from moving around and walking. I went home that same day.
 
I didn't drink enough my 1st day home and ended up going back to the ER for dehydration the next morning. That was a horrible feeling. It actually felt like I could die. I was scared to death. At the hospital they hooked me up to an IV, gave me apple juice (for low sugar) and a super nasty potassium shot. I felt so much better after I left there. On the way there I couldn't talk or anything. You can bet if I ever have to go to the hospital for anything it won't be for that. I am drinkin like a fish now!

But besides that episode everything has been great. The only thing is is I can't give myself that Lovenox shot. So if my husband can't give it to me I have to call around and see who is available. I don't know why I just can't get myself to do it.

Now I know what people are talking about when they talk about buyers remorse. It is very reassuring that people that are a year or so out say that they felt the same why but you get through it and it gets better.

I started my liquid diet yesterday. I feel like a total b-tch. This is going to be the longest week ever!!

Today I was given a date for surgery 08/27/08. I am so nervous. I have been so anxiuos now I am just nervous and yet still excited.
