I'm 31 years old with a new marriage and a 11 year old son. I've struggled with my weight since puberty. My weight reached a high of around 230 lbs. during my first marriage- around age 22. Since then I've struggled to keep it consistant but to no avail
I've gone as low as 160 lbs. twice in my adulthood- once in 2003 and the other more recently in December 2006. I was VERY happy with that weight and being a size 12/14. I only maintained that weight for a couple months both times and it all came back. 
For my 30th birthday I joined Medical Weight Loss Clinic and was determined to turn over a new leaf. I did great and lost about 40 lbs...and again put it all back on (plus some) After this last quick weight gain it's become nearly impossible to drop weight again. That's when I started looking into bariatric surgery. I guess I never thought I could qualify. Now that I know I do I feel that there is FINALLY a light at the end of my very dark tunnel.
