"I had my initial surgical consult with Dr. Houston on June 19, 2008. I found him to be a very pleasant individual. He took the time with me to go over different options of WLS. We decided that Gastric Bypass would be the best for me. He discussed with me the risks and benefits of surgery. He stressed the importance of this surgery being a lifelong commitment. We also discussed the importance of pre op as well as post op support and aftercare. He seemed very competent. I could tell he genuinely cares for his patients. rnrnMy initial opinion of Dr Houston was confirmed after my surgery. I was operated on 7/14/08. The surgery went really well. I could not have expected anything more from a surgeon. Following the surgery Dr Houston checked on me twice a day while I was in the hospital. He was very helpful in answering my questions and preparing me for my discharge to home. I was discharged on 7/17/08. I have nothing but good feeling towards Dr Houston and the treatment and care I received from the staff at Centennial Medical Center."
