My name is Jules and I am 35. I have been overweight since at least age 10. I had been thinking about WLS for the last couple of years, and over the last year my husband and I were both considering doing it. I made him go first (the guinea pig LOL), and he has had tremendous success without any problems. I had my surgery 10/30/07, just in time for Halloween. It has been a great experience so far. I have a great surgeon, and his staff is wonderful also, they are always there to answer questions and for support anytime I need it. I am extremely happy that we made this life-changing decision, and I do not have any regrets! I feel that since the surgery we have been doing a better job teaching our kids about nutrition and exercise, so this has changed our entire family for the better.
