I am going to see my weight loss group one more time this month and then I think I will schedule my appt. to see the surgeon at the beginning of December.
I still need to call my insurance company to get the details needed before I can be approved for surgery but with Cigna I am sure I will get it all finished.
Then I have to pay 3000 to even get a surgery date and begin the program.
I really have been on the fenc all year about this. My mother had the surgery done in February and she has been doing awesome. going from 265 to 147 today. I am very proud of her and a little jealous..lol
I get to see her for Christmas this year and it will be so nice to put my arms around her waist and not her neck.
She is encouraging me to do what is best for me but is totally behind my decision.
I am even trying to convince her to come down and help me out once I am able to get a surgery date.
Anyway, Here is to hopeful thinking and prayerful dreams of a much healthier and thinner future.
