Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming – all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! You’ve been out of surgery now for a little over a month – YIPPIE!!! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)… RNY 10/31/03 – down 85 pounds!!! Good luck!
Hi all! I'm on the post-op side now and doing well. Thanks for all the encouragement I have received here. Especially thank you Lynnda for being a new friend and for encouraging me when I felt crappy. For the first 2 days I was in lots of pain and felt like I made a mistake. Now I am pretty normal aside from one nagging pain in my lower left stomach area. Don't know if I have lost any weight yet, I will let you know when I know!
I went to see Jessica yesterday at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital. I am soooo pleased to report that she was doing great! She said she felt good and she looked even better! She just started on "foods" and she mentioned that they would release her on Sunday or Monday. She was walking as much as she could, getting lots of rest and she was in great spirits! Can't wait to see her back on the boards! You Go Girl! he he

Jes-
Right now, you just started surgery, I will be praying for you!
When you are back in your room, think positive, don’t feel shy to ask for stuff and get the blue package of lemon swabs-they are MUCH better than the green ones! You'll do great!
