 Well - I haven't written anything here....before now.  Better keep it short since I'm getting ready to leave town! (or rather, I SHOULD be packing! LOL)

I, like many of you, have battled with my weight my whole life.  For many years I kept it in check....at least I was in 'normal range' and life went on.....

After having children the battle was tougher.  Not so much due to the pregnancies as a rotten marriage.....so I turned to food for comfort.  

Years later I find my weight out of control.....and I'm just so tired of it being the center of my life - what I do, who I see, where I go..... you know the drill.

I am blessed with two grown girls and have adopted my granddaughter, who is now 6 yrs old.  I have a lot of living yet to do - and want to enjoy these years with my little one!!!  :-)

So - off we go to Disney World.....then immediately after our trip I head to Denton to get my DS with Dr. Stewart!!

Am I 'scared'?  YES!  This is a huge decision....but I am confident in my research and Dr. Stewart's skills.  I know this is the best thing for me - and my family.

The next time I post here, I will be switched - and on my way to a life of freedom!!   Freedom from obsessing about my weight and food.....freedom to live the life I want/need/deserve to live. :-)
