Thomas Sonnanstine M.D.

"First Impression of Dr. Sonnanstine was Confidence.rnOver time he appeared to be genuinely concerned and wanting to help m situation as if I was his only Pateint.rnOffice Staff was great. I think his practice has grown to the point to where he could add some staff to assist with the insurance portion as the lady that takes care of this seems so stressed all of the time.rnNo problems with the Doc. Only minor issues with Insurance Staff. But I understance the pressure she was under.rnHe is without a word the best of the best in Northern Kentucky. You won't find a better Bariatric Surgeon in this area.rnHe explains during mandatory group sessions that once you go through this surgery you are a patient of his for life. Almost you become part of his family.rnI haven't went through the surgery yet, but I have no doubt that his after care is a meticulous as his pre care.rnHe was very open and honest about the risks of the Surgery. He explained it very simply as brain surgery on your belly.rnOn a 1 to 10 scale I would rate him a 10 no doubt.rnSurgical Competence and Bedside Manner are both awesome.rnOne other thing that impressed me about Dr. Tom was after I had the surgery I would see him 3 times or more a day checking on me and giving me updates. This attention to detail and personalized attention to patience is critical and he was great. I had heard the nurses mention over and over that he lived at the hospital indicating he spent what ever time it took to get the job done. If you live in Kentucky or Greater Cincinnati Area he is the best.rnrnCheck this link to see for your self.rnrnhttp://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/bariatric+surgeon+profile+Thomas+Sonnanstine+MD+ntm.html"

St Luke West

"ST. Luke West has been very accommadating from the begining of my journey. Here is an example. While recovering from the operation my second day in the hospital my nurse was unable to locate a shower chair so she covered a oversided chair with plastic. Even though they have a shortage ov shower chairs my nurse went above and beyond in accommadating my needs by covering a chair. This is one small example."
