I am a 5 year post-op open ryn.. The day of my surgery i weighed 329 pounds and the day of my consulation I weighed 350 pounds.
I was borderline diabetes, I had high blood pressure, I was a walking time bomb.
I couldnt get out of bed without popping 2 advils for the pain.
I was dieng a slow death maybe not from a medical view but from my view.
I had swollen hands and feet, could not walk 10 steps with out being out of breath.
I felt like a failure because i could loose weight but not keep it off.
this surgery does operate on your insides but not your head.
i know weigh 156 pounds i fluctuate between 156 pounds and 166 pounds.
I went from wearing a size 32 3x to a size 12 or 14 depending on the cut and a large or extra large top.
I have not had any reconstructive surgery im scared shit less to have it to be honest, i figure at my age i aint screwing around with the surgery gods.
