Wishing this was all a nightmare!

May 18, 2010

Hi all!
I am 46 years old, a mother of three grown children...and a Nana of 6 beautiful grand babies. In 1998 I was diagnosed with a Meningioma Brain Tumor...After my brain surgery My left eye was looking at my nose, and not knowing what was happening to me...I had spinal taps up to 2 sometimes 3 times a week until my lumbar shunt was inserted.
I have put on 70 pounds since my Brain Surgery. I have found that if I go on a diet I sometimes suffer with a low pressure headache...If I exercise I feel like I am going to pass out due to my pressure being so high....I simply am very upset about this silly situation I am in!....

My doctor just submitted a request to my insurance company for the Gastric Bypass surgery. I am hoping that I do get it, and thinking positive that it will make me feel better over time.

Maybe someone can tell me what the Gastric doctor does on the first visit?.......
Any information anyone can give me would be absolutely wonderful.

Thank you so much everyone for listening
Heidi
