Give "ME" some credit !!!!!

OK I get it....I had Bypass surgery...but that was more than a year ago....I am on my own now...every ounce/pound I lose is because "I" am working my program......GEEEEZZZZ.....give me some credit.....Lately several people that haven't seen me for a really long time have approached me and complimented me on how great I look....that is until they hear i have "had that surgery" to which they say...oh that sure makes it easy to loose weight doesn't it ??? I keep my anger in check as well as my sarcasm....and simply enlighten them that yes the surgery sure helps you.......in the beginning BUT there is a program we all have to follow or failure follows.....I tell them I still have to watch what and how much I eat...and I HAVE to exercise everyday......EVERYDAY I have a program I follow......for some reason people just think you have this surgery and like magic charms....everything magically disappears......
I am truley thankful for my second chance....and I am just as thankful for the strength I have been given from God......
I pray everyday as I walk that I will stay humble AND commited to this new life I have been given..........
