Went this morning for my endoscopy appointment with Dr. Barba. He was very nice, talked to me about 15 minutes before the procedure was done. Everything went well, St. Francis nurses were all very nice, staff at hospital very friendly and helpful. Hopefully everythng with the endoscpoy went good, Dr. Barba said if there was a problem they will call, otherwise no call all is well. Getting nervous things are going well. Next test Sleep Study on June 1st. Will add more then.
I Have a Date

Well today I received the news that my surgery date is August 15, 2007. I can not say how happy I am, excited, nervous and my head is spinning.

Well today I met with Scott the PA at Dr. Barba's office, he was very nice. Explained everything to me and my support team. I now have to have a sleep study & endoscopy. Looks like surgery will be done sometime in September. Will update again soon.

Finished all Consults

Well on April 10 I finally finished all the doctor consults. I am now waiting for Cardiologist to fax final paperwork to surgeon. I hope in the next couple of days I will hear from the surgeons office with an appointment date. I am geting very nervous and excited at the same time.
Doctor's Appointment

Went to Cardiologist today, he did an EKG, ordered me to have blood work, Echo, chest x-ray and stress test. So have several appointments scheduled for the next couple of weeks. I then return to the Doctor on April 10 (he is on vacation until then) we will go over all the test results then he says he will send them on to Dr. Barba. I am a little disappointed as I won't see Dr. Barba likely till the end of April. Really want this surgery bad and am very excited to get a surgery date.
