It is officially midnight. I have to be at the hospital at 6:30AM. So excited and nervous. Gonna try to get some sleep. 2014 is my year to shine! 

I am 4 days away from surgery. Time is really moving now. I have watched thousands of YouTube videos, read blogs, books, & articles. I guess I am going to just have to walk on faith at this point. I am looking at plastic surgery I want to look my best. Sexy & gorgeous & healthy are my goals. Want to transform my body into a body of work. 

So yesterday I went to my pre op appointment. I truly was a all day affair. I was at the surgeons office from 7am-11:30am then had to wait from noon until 2:30pm to get pre register and meet with the anesthesiologist. I was blown away when the register lady told me I had to pay a huge fee to have my procedure at the hospital wasn't inform that. So I am praying that they can work with me. December 30 is my big day I can!t wait. Hooray. Only God knows what this weight has put me through.Please pray for me, thank you 

So excited. Mrs.Myra called today to ask me if December 30 would work for my surgery date I screamed YES of course. My 30th birthday is the day before 12/29. What a great birthday gift to myself. Shedding the 20's and all the joy and tears that came along with them  and say hello to my 30's. I just cried on the phone, I felt relief in my heart and mind. Thank you God for blessing me and touching the hearts of the people that come in contact with me. Bless the staff and the surgeon. Amen

Today I can say is one of my most happiest days. Friday December 6,2013 I was APPROVED for weight loss surgery! Words could not describe my feelings. Happy,scared,peace . I feel like I have achieved something major. 6 months of stuff. Thank you Jesus .

So this morning seem like it was gonna be bad before It started but instead it was the total opposite. I work evenings so I didn't get to bed until around 2AM! My dr appointment was at 8:45AM. Super tired. Then I rain all night the forecast said rain and ice in atlanta!OMG! On a Tuesday morning before thanksgiving. So of course I was in traffic forever. But I made it safe and sound and on time. The office computer checking system was down which scared me but the staff just check us in the old fashion way. I waited for about 15-20minutes which wasn't bad because I got to talk to two women that were 2wks post-op. They were very informative. Then I was called to the back. I wasn't scared to get on the scale:-) because I know change is coming. Met DR.LARRY HOBSON and I will say he. Is truly a sweetheart a angel he was so patient and explain everything and answered all 1 million questions I had. I feel so much better, this is such a great day for me. Now I am just waiting on the insurance company. Please everybody pray for my approval. Thank you for listening 

So today before I flew to ny to see my family I  received a call from the office about two things. #1 they were submitting my paperwork to the insurance for approval or denial. LORD JESUS bless the insurance as they review my paperwork and approve it. Amen.but #2 was that I wanted to have my surgery before my 30th birthday December 29,2013. I am a little superstitious. I just feel like I need to get three thing in order within my first few months of my 30's. Health-first. Lose the weight, get in shape. Second- finance. Clean my credit, take care of debit. And third-career apply for a flight attendant position! a dream of mines and/or start working on starting my own business- another passion of mines. With all this on my plate I was hoping Dr. Titus Duncan would do my surgery but I found out he was booked all the way up until the end of January 2014 beginning February but DR.Larry Hobson was available in December . I know god will bless him when he operate on me,he has a lot of great reviews but I guess I'm nervous because I never met him and he doesn't advertise a lot about himself website,Facebook etc. but at least I get a chance to meet him this week in person. Please good ppl continue to keep me in your prayers.

Yes super happy. Yesterday was my last pre op dietitian appointment. 6 months seem like a lifetime. But now I have all my test and labs done. Just praying that my insurance approves me. Please pray in my favor everybody. Thank you

So tomorrow is my second to last doctor appointment before we submit my request for weight loss surgery approval. I am so nervous. I have been on a supervised diet with my dietitian since May. She is the best. I love her so much. I have had dietitians before but she rocks(Jessica at Peachtree bariatrics for Dr.Titus Duncan). I am hoping I can have my surgery in December , especially by 12/29 my birthday(I turn the BIG 30). I started out 302lbs and now currently 279lbs. I try to drink a muscle milk in the morning for protein and cut back on my cards,sugar and soda. I am excited about my new life. I know God is in control so I just have to take a back seat and let him drive me. I currently live in atlanta area the airport, working evenings,trying to find a person to go to the gym late after work around 11pm. But super happy with life knowing that God got a plan for me post surgery.
