Today I am going to get my hair done!  At least I won't have dark roots when I go in for surgery :-)  My daughter and I have been reading the blogs this morning and looking at the pictures.  She is twelve and very mature for her age.  She even watched a show on the process on TLC and sat down with me to make me aware of the dangers of this surgery.  We had a great talk and now the only thing that she is worried about is that she doesn't want to have to share her clothes when I lose weight!  I am blessed beyond belief.
My son is thirteen and he can't wait until I can do stomach crunches with him.  Back when I was in college I could do 250 at a time, now I can't do 10.  He is an exercise buff although I can still beat him at arm wrestling :-)  I can't wait to see what else I can do better than him when I am in shape.  It will be fun to find out.
My other son is two and a half.  He is our unexpected latest addition.  He is from New Orleans and we have had custody of him since Katrina hit.  We weren't expecting to have another child in our home, but God sometimes has other plans for us.  He doesn't understand anything about this of course, but I cannot wait to take him swimming for the first time.
Well, I better go!
