Tolerated foods, foods I miss

Succesful foods for me so far: Seafood #1 all day long, Tuna, crabs, shrimp, lobster, fish.. wont try clams or mussels(two of my old favorites because I think the rubbery texture will be to hard to digest. Chicken, ground turkey, veggie burgers, eggwhites, cheese,    I have never liked mayo, mustard, ketchup, sauces... so no problems given that up.    What I do miss pasta, Carrabas restaurant.. to be exact!! lol. fried rice, FRENCH FRIES!!!!! LOL and nice fat juicy steak !!LAWD HAVE MERCY... but I dont have a desire to mess up how well I am doing for a quick fix of carbs LOL.    I am still trying to adjust to 30 minute between eating and drinking.  I am the type that usually would do this naturally or just sip a little, but now it is a rule it has been driving me crazy.  What has made it harder is for the past 3 weeks I have had guest from out of town.. funeral, and a couple get togethers which tested my ability to wait that 30 minutes out.  every kept asking do you want something to drink... others are asking why am not touching my drink.. then a friend of mine actually new the situation and said he would wait it out with me.  so cool right. Hope for conversation or television to fill the space til I can eat or drink..   The is truly a journey and I am so blessed to have this opportunity.

A size 15/16 is to big and a 13/14 is a lil too snug... this is so exciting to me.  I was in the store going back n forth from plus size section to the regular size.  I purchased a couple sweaters in a size large!!! they fit very comfortable.  I also purchased a pair of skinny jeans in a size xl now that I have wore them and stretched them with my thick thighs they aint huging me as tight as I would have liked.  guess I should have squeezed in a size large which would fit perfect after the initial stretched.  and i lost 2 more pounds !! 217 lb yeaper skipper

STARTING WEIGHT 255, CURRENT 219, GOAL 150.  IT REALLY GOING TO HAPPEN.  RIGHT NOW AT 219 I AM ENJOYING IT BUT HAVE BEEN HERE BEFORE AS RECENT AS LAST YEAR.  I HAVE BEEN AS LOW AS 201 LAST YEAR BUT NEVER UNDER 2.  I AM GOING TO STAY FOCUSED AND WORK THIS TOOL ALL THE WAY TO ONEDERLAND AND BELOW.....I STILL HAVENT TOLD ANYONE AT MY JOB THE SPECIFICS OF MY SURGERY.. I WILL JUST KEEP THEM GUESSING A LIL LONGER lol.

Thursday and Friday I experience uncontrollable gas and cramping... to my suprise...the culprit was MILK.... oh my gosh what a experience.  I had decided to use the milk as a additional protein... so 46 grams of protein from the 2 shakes plus 16 grams of protein from 2 cups of milk... whelp .. my intention was goood LOl but the outcome was wuuuu ssaaa LOL I couldnt believe the length of noisy gas and the smell was awful.  So I went back to mixing my shakes with just water... will get Lactid milk and try this weekend in the presence of my own home ..just in case LOL.

The comments are flowing in .  oh my gosh...you look amazing....oh my gosh... you are look so beautiful... one lady stopped me in the bathroom and was like .. is that you !!!! I just start smiling .. she said sorry to be so loud but you look so full of glow and pretty LOL.. not that I didnt think you were before... so I just stopped her from rambling and said.. thank you

Ok went to dr. appt.. they are pleased with my progress.  Like 3 more pounds heavier by there scale.  they weighed me at 226... and my period had just gone off so.. still... 29 lbs is excellent with me.  Dr. ask that I began taking Calcium Citrate with vitamin D. instead of the regular tums .  I have to work harder to get in three meals a day and all my liquids/protein... this is definitely challenging but I will make it happen captain.  Whelp I am back to work today and feeling good, little anxious this morning didnt want to leave anything home I would need to make it thru the day.  I didnt make a grand entrance and as people see me I get the wow comments and the you look great... one of my friends came over to my desk and said///(you seeem a lot lighter....) it was hilarious... cause he just stared and smiled and laughed and gave me a hug... LOL...  hope my energy level last the day away.

Oh yeah I forgot to add that the dr. explain since I was on the smaller end of extreme obesity that some people are going to say i have lost too much weight and I am too skinny in about the next 6 months... this is where the most drastic weight loss occurs..etc  he told me that it will be up to me to maintain a comfortable weight for myself.  I think it will be the shock of people not used to ever seeing me that small... But then I am thinking dang he told me that like I am going to look like a crackhead or something... LOL....

I just can believe the weight is continually falling off and my clothes are doing the same... I need to get back to the basics and get the protien shakes in... Some days I dont feel like eating or drinking anythiing.  Thankfully I have had no dumping or complications ... thank God.  my 1 month follow up is Nov.5, and my return to work is Nov. 6...

Journey Continues... and I am happy about it.

I am so happy with my journey thus far.... trying to prepare myself to go back to work next week.  My 3 year old is back home with me f(for the last couple weeks she has been with her dad, her grandmother, and myself alternating where I only have her twice a week).. .. and wow oh wow is she giving me  run for my money... she is helpful as she can be but her energy level is way higher than mine LOL... so the routine now is taking her to school in the morning... coming home.. then going to pick her up then homework time...Praying that I do good back at work next week.. kinda of scared of not being able to hang 8 hours straight yet...Today I can comfortably fit in my size 16 jeans.. they were really tight but now are really loose LOLCant wait to see where I am 6 months from now.

I just finishing walking a mile(comcast cable on demand)  felt good ... it was low impact but at least I did it insteading sitting in my bed watching it lol.   Not supposed to start really excersizing til I go back for follow up on the 4th of Nov.
Nothing really going on right now... no complications, getting in protien and water... not as much as I should but one day at a time... still no real appetite.  / 229 lbs today, lost 26 lbs to date

I am getting in my protein shakes and water.. and vitamins.... nothing really to say right now.. let the journey continue... 231 lb yeaper skipper
