for some reason today I really dont feel like chewing or drinking... really weird feeling...  I just dont have a desire to chew chew chew.... and wait to drink....Can't really explain it. I know I have to get in the protein shakes vitamins, liquids ect.... Today is going to be a challenge...

ok I am trying new soft foods a week earlier than I should... n between my protien shakes... and I am chewing chewing.. and chewing... dont worry they have been healthy foods... eggs whites, cottage cheese, smashed up tilapia with a dab of low fat mayo....hummm hmmm..delicision...I am waiting 1/2 before and after eating to drink anythng.. and all is well...I am down to 236... really need to put the scale up!!! but tooooo excited

I am going to need to hide the scale and only use it once a week... but for right now.. I cant help it.... I got on it like 4 times since last nite to see if was going to change as if the 239lbs reading was a mistake.. I am soo geeked right now... whole liquids are staying down just fine... shakes are staying down just fine also....Thank you Jesus!

Dr. gave me the ok to take a dose of milk of magnesia.... and it worked it like 2 hours... I feel such a relief in the top part of my stomach... 1 go so far....
Dr.  said I am doint well and will see him in a month.. of course any problems just call/page him directly .  I HAVE LOST 11 LBS!! WOW SO EXCITED... MORE TO COME..
I started full liquids tmrw and pureed foods new week, then soft foods...

I have appt with surgeon Dr. M today.  The nurse came out yesterday and was concerned the percacets was contributing to me not having a bowel movement asked me to talk to Dr. M to possible ok me for Milk of Magnesia... I was going to take it last nite with out asking but he called and told me to come in so I didnt take it..... the nurse asked me if I felt constipated and I said no because I dont what it feels like to be constipated...( I havent had the urge to go at all)
now I am like dang is this why my stomach fills extra bloated and extra full all day long.
I CANT BELIEVE I DIDNT NOT ONCE THINK ABOUT CONSTIPATION OR A BOWEL MOVEMENT.. I FIGURE SINCE I HAVE NOT BEEN EATING ANY SOLIDS THAT MAYBE THERE WAS NOTHING TO COME OUT...(SORRY FOR THIS DISCUSSION)

God is soo God!!!  Surgery went well, done laproscopically surgery started around 7:30 over around 10.(took a lil longer dr. said because of a hernia I had as a infant in my navel and there was a lot of fat tissue that had to be cut thru)  ...the drs. and nurses in the prep/recovery room called me lil miss sunshine and thanked me for being so pleasant... the nurses and staff gave me hugs and kiss to the forehead which was very nice...of course this was all before the surgery... and before the pain and discomfort hit me sunshine went out the went lol /I dont know what it was but God just gave me peace and reassurance everthing was going to be ok. thru the whole thing. all I remember is being laid on the operating table and waking up in the recovery room where i started.... The pain was a 10 and it seem like forever for the pain meds to kick in ... I was breathing and moaning like i was in labor... just trying to cope... the nursed keep saying the meds should kick in shortly... the more they said that the more it seemed like a life time...Once the morphine kicked in I was on cloud nine from there on out. Next day had catheria removed... took 1oz water drinking test and was release about 6 that afternoon.  My incisions are perfect.. no drains.. stapples... leaking..Dr. Meilhan is the greatest....
Nurse came out to show how to use the lovenox blood thinner shot to the stomach... my mom is giving those to me daily. 
Got out walking in the mall with my mother on saturday was still sore but felt good being active doing something.  all clear liquids/broth, sugar free jello and vitamin and tums staying down fine so far so good(between 30-45 oz a day so far, next week start of full liquid(shakes and strained cream soups).... .. my mom is staying with me...Thank yall so much for the support and encouragemnt..can believe I am on my way... and so many wonderful people to share it with .... talk to you guys soon with more details..LOL and questions of course....  sorry for any typoss.....urinating fine... no stool yet... but my period just came on.... my menstrual is also started right after..dr. said will not interfere with blood thinner meds...

OMG nothing but clear liquids today.... why did they order pizza and buffalo wings last night.. I thought I was going to loose my mind... but I keep my eye on the prize soooooo.... I popped a shot of chicken broth and went upstairs..
TMRW IS THE BIG DAY.. I AM THANKING GOD IN ADVANCE FOR BRINGING ME THRU SURGERY AND HEALING MY BODY.. I HAVE CLAIMED THE VICTORY... HOPE ALL IS WELL WITH EVERYONE..  PRAYFUL AND BELIEVING
