Kris - That's wonderful news! Good for you. You just keep doing what you're doing as it seems to be working so well for you. Looking for things that you like to eat is not a problem. Sit down with a good cookbook for light eating and see if you can prepare any of those meals without unnecessary carbs and sugar. At least it will get you thinking to other things you can do. Also, it may spice up the family meals too. Just wanted to let you know that I'm thrilled to soo you posting again and I sent my fondest regards... Jen in AZ

Kris, Glad to hear you are home and doing well. COngrats on the weight loss so far. On the hungar thing, it will get better. I have been there and felt the same way at first. I finally gave in a ate some of the stuff that I wanted so badly and let me tell you, it wasn't as ggod as I remembered. Once the weight loss gets on up there, the food wanting will be so much less important. (7 1/2 months post op -118)

HI Kris, glad you were able to get the surgery and are well. I am in Tacoma. Are you going to any support meetings, for others who have had the surgery. I am pre op (feb 10 is my day) -maybe that would help with the depression. Write and let me know if you are interested and I can tell you about the one I attended tonight, it was great, My first time and I feel lots better about my decision. Congrats on the loss. Mary
