Kris, Don't let that ignorant woman on the bus get you down. I guess she is one of those that crave attention and get it by making fun of others. It's so sad to think that there are people actually out there like her! Surely, their parents don't raise them to act like that. But then again, sometimes, the parents are the worst! Thank God that I have raised my 3 daughters to respect all others. Your surgery day will soon be set and you will be well on your way!!!!! You go girl! May God Bless you and I wish you much Peace~~~

Kris, I am so sorry about your experience on the bus and walking on the street. I can't believe people can be so cruel. Especially adults!! I thought that stuff ended in elementary school. People need to grow up. I know how hurtful those things can be. We never are immune to the sting. I for one, am looking forward to being so gorgeous that people can't help but stare!!!!!! Keep your chin up. You are beautiful already. You go girl!!!!!

Kris - I'm so sorry to hear about your car problems. I hope that things will go better this next week and you will be able to figure out a solution! Meanwhile, remember that nothing lasts forever. It's so easy to focus on the negative things that are happening and forget to look at the bigger picture. I can remember years ago, when we first bought our house and withdrew my husbands 401k money to use as a down payment. We ended up suffering some serious financial repercussions and owing a lot of unexpected money in taxes. It seemed like we were had gone from small amounts (big to us!) of draining money problems for cars, etc... to a HUGE and INSURMOUNTABLE money pit of a problem with an IRS debt looming. We went out to lunch and were both really preoccupied with our gloomy thoughts - when the conversation at the next booth started to seep in. An group of elderly people were discussing the death of a close friend and the subsequent health problems and recent hospitalization of the spouse left behind. One of them made a comment, "when you have your health - you have everything." My husband and I just looked at each other as we both suddenly realized that our money worries were really unimportant in the grand scheme of things. Stay focused on the fact that you have each other and work towards getting the WLS that you know will get your body healthier. May God give you an extra measure of peace and bless you both! ((((hugs)))
