Hi Kristin-Water that first week pre-op is SO hard! But incredibly important. Keep 64oz in the frig in your choice of bottle or jug and just keep working it. The first week I had trouble getting 40 oz a day in. Keep that water with you everywhere, and be aware of it. Keep working it. You don't want to wind up back in ER for dehydration. You don't want to start kidney stones. This water intake is part of your 'job' this week, along with being aware of walking. I wish you the best-

Hi Kristin, the H20 is really hard in the beginning but other things do count toward that total, almost anything liquid will keep you hydrated, 64 oz is the goal but in the beginning it's so hard. Just keep plugging away, pretty soon it will be second nature. BIGGHUGGZZZZ
