On a roll! Got a call today from the office that have receive my approval an they set me up for a stress test an a pulomonary test. My stress test will be done at st johns hospitla on Nov. 27th an pulm will be nxt monday wehich is the 19th. So I'm on my way an so excited. looks like i will be havin the surgery this yr. whoooooo gettin nervous now. keep ya posted on how it went on those tests.

Come to find out she didnt send my paperwork off to insurance till Nov. 8 which was a thrusday an they recieve it that day. I have call everyday except Monday cuz it was a holiday, to see how was it going. Everyday I got its still pending an I was so worry an nervous. I told myself yesterday this was it I'm call today an if its still pending I'm give them a week to get it together.  So I call an I ask how long do it take to get a responce to ur paperwork if its approval or denied. the nice lady ask wat is it you waitin for I said my gastric bypass paperwork. She said hold let me check an she were its at. She came back on the phone an said Ms. Barber its been updated to day you have been APPROVE. I said are you sure she said yes I'm lookin at it . I scream ,jump,cry ,an was thankin the lord. I was so sure I wasnt going to be approve an the lord see that I need this to help me get health an I will do my best to make this work for me. THANK YOU JESUS!  i will update when I get a call for my DATE. But not rushin it! 

As of yesterday. my partner called an ask did they recieve my fax from the psyh an she said no as usually so she gave her the fax number an told her she'll be sittin there if she can call him an ask him to fax it now an she'll give use a call when she recieve it. So then she call him an told him they still havent recieve it an gave him the fax number that she got an he was mad a hung up quick . lol. Within an 30 mins she call us back to tell us they got it an the my surgeon said everythng look good an off to ins . Well back to the paitent game again untill next time!

I wanted to posted that I finally went to my first consult on tuesday. My surgeon was a really nice guy an was so understandin. I thought it would be so hard to talk  to him but it wasnt. He congrate me on losin 10 pds. I was so shock cuz I havent done anything different that I notice but the scale said I did lose it . So I'm grateful for that. He wants me to get my bmi a lil lower an I understand so no problem wit that. I was offer two diets to try one were its shake for breakfast an lunch wit a sensible dinner.And the other is liquid diet. I perfer to go cold turkey an do the liquid diet. Its been ruff theses days but thats how serious I am about all this an I want to live an be healthy. I go to my pysh review tomorrow an I'm not as nervous as before. I just want to get in there an get it ova wit so I can get the big ? answered. Well will keep ya posted like always god bless an good luck to anyone thats either  on the loser bench or tryin to get a seat like me.

I went to my psyh today an he was cool also i took that 567 ? , oh my. But I got thru it. He told me that Im a great candiate for the surgery an I was so happy to hear that an to keep him posted after surgery. Well ova that hump,.. so now waitin for them to call i guess an fax to insurance. so keep ya posted

I had made an appt for the psyh review for oct 2th an im nervous like crazy. But it got to be done so I need to get ova it. Sttill wait to go the center on the 25 th. 10 more days be here before you know it but thats all take cake.

Ok well got some bad news. Yesterday I had got a call from the office that my surgeon wont be in the office that day so I had to reschedule for the 24th. It seems like for ever to  meet him but anyway aint nothin I can do about it.  I just feel the lord is makin everything fall into place where it need to be so I'll be patient. Will keep ya'll posted.

Just had to post right now feelin down today. I was suppose to be going to my  first consult tomorrow, but Its just like the devil came up and was like nope not tomorow.  I had to reschedule my appt  this morning do to transportaion again. The lady at Columbia was suppose to fax an review to my ins. transportaion and she didnt and when I call to see if she did they was say  no and its to late for it now. So that led me no choice but to change my appt,b/c I have to rent a car, The new date is Sept.10, 2007. A long time from now like another month from now. I' m so upset cuz I had to wait this long and did what I had to do to get this appt an now I cant go cuz ppl not doing there job as they told you they would. As for today I will be taking my daughters to the doc today for there well check-ups, at least there healthy. Hey there I'm back in act my baby jus t got me a new computer today an now I can let you know whats going on wit me instead waiting month after month. Ok first I like to tell you that I had to sendf my pcp paper to the office and now was waiting for my first consult. In one week they called an told me that I got my appt for aug.14 which is this tuesday yippee! Im so happy about that moving right along. I got my labs back and they read that my vitamin D is low also mag is low to. So I'm doing what I got to do to bring it up. I have been trying differnt protein shakes and still havent found one I like yet but I do have one I can tolerate. The cpap is so dang diffcult for me. But I do try everynight to keep it on . Other then that I'm doing just fine an trying to keep patient for my appt. So take care and I will keep ya'll paosted
