Hey, I must be on a roll. Lordy that makes me think of my husband. He would say, “Is that a Kaiser or French roll?” I have been married to Perry for a little over 4 years. We have been together for almost 7½ years. He has 2 grown sons, ages 27 & 25. His oldest son has a wonderful wife and they have 3 children of their own and foster 2 girls. . Perry’s younger son is still single and lovin’ life. I have 2 daughters, ages 17 & 10. My son, Robert would have been 34 this year. I still see my first husband and his wife on a regular basis, usually weekly or more. We spend holidays and birthdays together. It seems weird to some but it is a great arrangement for the girls. It isn’t like I hate my ex. In fact I still love him but just not in “that” way.  Married life the second time around is different to say the least. Perry works hard and though I have a hard seeing it, he adores me. Other people see it a lot better than I do. I have a hard time liking myself so I guess I find it difficult to believe anyone could like or let alone love me. I don’t think people would ever guess that I feel this way about myself.  My number one reason for having this surgery is so I could live long enough to see my daughters’ graduate, marry and have children (if they chose to). I want the world for them and I want to be able to see their faces as life unfolds for them. The second reason is my husband. He always tells me we are going to grow old together and spend our time on the front porch in our rocking chairs. More later...
