Hey Laury...... I have had two spinal taps and it felt the same feeling as a epidural to me so that makes it about 5 times my spines been tapped. Its no big deal... they give you a shot to deaden you where they will insert the needle and honest I would rather have a spinal tap than get IV's anyway..... you get stuck and then its out... IV's hurt me so much when they stick me ..usually have to stick me for IV 5X or more ... honest would rather go for a Tap... *hugs*
