Wow... this year has really flown by!!!   My 1 year will be here on October 30th and so far I have lost 94 pounds.  

My personal goal is within reach... I wanted to be 100 pounds less by one year, just 6 more pounds to go!!!

I want to lose more total, just wanted at least 100 by that date!!!

On April 30th, it will have been 6 months since surgery.  My Dr. is pleased with my progress, yet I don't feel I am doing as well as I should be.  Even though I have lost 80 pounds, in the last month and 1/2 I have only lost 5 pounds.  

Maybe I am expecting too much... I know that is still a lot of weight.  I feel good... better than I have in years, I should be focusing on that.  I know the weight will come off, I am only 40 pounds to my goal... I really never thought I would be this close!

I am now down 75 pounds (20 pounds liquid pre-diet and 55 pounds since surgery)!

Wow... didn't think it was possible!  I haven't weighed 245 since I was a freshman in high school!

I am almost 3 months out and I am 65 pounds lighter than I once was.  My weight loss is slowing a bit....  I know I was due for a slow down, but it is expected.  My resolve is still strong as ever.  I just keep plugging along, exercising, eating my protein and drinking water!  Everybody have a great day!!!

So far so good... got through Thanksgiving and Christmas without the holiday goodies that got my fat butt to the size it was!  I am now 58 pounds down from my starting point!!!  I haven't weighed 262 since I was in high school!!!  

Well it has been four weeks as of today, and it is also my first day back to work!  Going good so far... energy is coming back well and  things are looking up!!!  

I lost 20 pounds on the liquid diet pre-op and 27 pounds since surgery for a total of 47 pounds gone!!! WOO HOO!!!  

My back and knees are already singing the praises of  the weight being gone! From 320 to 273 is pretty good for a 47 year guy!  I am hoping to add about 53 more pounds to that total before all is said and done!

I finished up the last of my pre-op testing today.  I did really well on my treadmill and echo.  Now I am trying to keep motivated on the liquid diet.  It is definitely not easy, but is doable!  I am determined to get control of my life!!! 

I received the call today from my Dr's office letting me know I was approved and date set for October 30th!!!  

I am so ready!!!  

 I had a great visit with my Dr's Office this morning.  Everything appears to be ready to submit for insurance approval for the end of October! 

Everyone keep your prayers in for a smooth approval... I am so ready to get this done!!!

I have now completed my psych visits and received the clearance.  Now just waiting for my visit to the cardiologist on October 9th.  After that, it should be getting close.  All of my other visits are done and clearances received... almost there!!!
