"Dr. Lauter is VERY good. He is caring and concerned and professional. He is a man of few words, but definately knows what he's doing. He specializes in laporascopic surgery. I felt comfortable with him and he answered all of my questions. He was very up front about the risks and potential complications. He asks that you have (pre surgery) nutritional counseling, psych eval, heart and lung tests, blood test/screenings, clearance from primary doc. Strongly recommends support groups, ongoing nutrution counseling, labs. When I have had problems (stricture) he personally phoned me back. I would highly recommend him and Evergreen Hospital was FABULOUS, I thought. "
