Hey Cinda~~Looks like we'll be recuperating together! I will be thinking of you when you have your hernia repair and completion of the DS. You've been an inspiration to me and I'll be right here rooting for your total success.

Dear Cinda~~~Good Luck with your herniorraphies. May God watch over you and inspire your surgeon to do great things for you. I had an incisional herniorraphy and a panniculectomy done on 5/21/02---Morphine was there with me. Not as much discomfort as I thought. Little nausea--also gone within 12 hours. I pray that your procedure is as uncomplicated as mine was and that your recovery is complete. Be well, be happy, be blessed.

Just letting the extended "family" know I'll be having surgery on June 11 instead of July 11. I'm hoping for the happy morphine button again. lol Not looking forward to the prep. but I cannot wait to have it overwith and on the road to recovery. No more hernia pain YAHOO! I have an umbilical hernia and a hiatal hernia. I'll post after surgery.

I have a tentative surgery date for 2 hernia repairs and the second half of the duodenal switch. Originally I just had the restrictive part. For me, I don't want to worry about every little morsel I put into my mouth. Now, I am not saying I can go "hog wild" with the second part of the operation, I am only saying that for me, I won't be so paranoid about every little thing I eat. I am not sure of the time or hospital yet, but the date is JULY 11. I totally cannot wait! I'll post more as I get the information. Have a great "Hump Day" everyone!

Dear Cinda, I know how difficult some day are, espically when you work with people, but your tenderness and caring is so importnt to us on the AMOS boards. I understand how it can make you feel to post to someones page and then find out that they have passed on, but sweetie, things like that happen, and you are not at fault. It takes someone who really cares to do what you do and it's sometimes a thankless job. So let me say THANK YOU. And please don't give up. You are so needed. Pastor Kay

Dear Cinda~~~As a member of the Anniversary Group you do a wonderful thing for people. You take time out of your busy schedule to remember a day that is special to each and every one of us who has had WLS. I recall one member posting that no one in her family or group of friends remembered her day but volunteers at OH.com did. Posting to a deceased members page inadvertenly is a painful thing to do. I am sorry that you had to experience that and I know you regret any stress you might have added to another's day because of it. Please don't let this change what you do and why you do it. This may however open up a discussion among the staff at OH as to how the memorial page and any cross references might be kept more up to date so that this will not happen again. Thanks for all you do Cinda. May God continue to watch over you.

**IT happens, It wasnt done out of spite. How would one family member know U posted to "afew" that had passed? Makes me think the Memorial page isnt very accurate. I think what you do for this site is WONDERFUL. Any mishaps that happen are FAR outweighed by all the smiles you bring and the warm fuzzy feelings someone has that may NOT have had without YOUR note. I hope you dont stop alot of us dont get much support from our THIN family and sure do thrive on what we get here. xoxoxo Connie~

Cynda, Please don't let one bad apple spoil the barrel. You made a simple, honest mistake. It is too bad it happened, but you have made a big postitive impression on many people. I see more of this nasty stuff going on, and I really feel the senders just don't have a life. God Bless you Cynda for your encouraging words to people on this site who need it
