Well it has now been 7 weeks yesterday.  I am down 33 lbs starting weight was 321 now I am 288.   I havent had any issues with food still trying to get in all my protein and all my fluids I wasnt a big drinker Pre-Op so that is a struggle but I will get there in time.  I havent had one regret no buyers remorse I am happy that I did something to change my life for the better I was tired of being the fat girl I am ready to be normal!!  Now I am looking forward to the months to come and watch my body change and maybe feel like getting out this summer and doing things with my husband instead of always complaining . Hoping to have lost 50lbs by 3 months I will keep you posted!

Well I gave myself one more chance and lost a few but you know how that goes... So i got approved for DS surgery last week with Dr. Gary Anthone in Nebraska which is 7 hours from my home but it will so be worth it. Anyway I typed up my vitamins list and schedule please check if if you see something I need to change please let me know.

So I was on my liquid diet for 4 days and only lost 1 pound....But as you know I have decided to post pone my surgery and try a lifestyle change well Tuesday June 23 I was 324 and today Sunday June 28 I am 318.6 yay me I gotta keep it up...My mom husband and I are doing a low calorie "LIFESTYLE"change and walking about a mile a day....I can do this....Thanks for all your guys support it really helps a lot.

Well had a long talk with my mom and husband today and I think I have decided to post pone my surgery...YIKES...I am gonna give diet...no...A LIFESTYLE change 6 months and see how it goes if after that I see no results I will try and persue surgery again....I am just so scared of the unknown with the RNY maybe if i get some weight off I might change to Lapband....My mom and husband are on board with the LIFESTYLE change making a commetment to eating healthy and walking everyday without fail...Wish me luck guys...I hope I am doing the right thing...

I have a surgery date for July 7th 2009 I start my liquid diet June 23rd 2009...Wish me luck!!!

I called my insurance yesterday (May 28, 2009) and they said I was approved so now I am waiting for my surgeons office to call and set my date!!!

I went to my first appt. on April 3 2009 with all intentions of having Lap Band but since the appt. I think I have changed to RNY since I have about 170 lbs to lose.  It scares the crap out of me but both my husband and mom believe that I will get the best results with RNY.  I have my Psych Eval on April 13 2009.  Then they will submit to insurance I hope it is a quick process.

I am going to a seminar in Jan. I am hoping that they take my insurance...I really need to do something I am so miserable...
