Linda, Thanks for the kind words. Although I didn't suffer any complications due to surgery, I really had a hard time. A week after surgery it hurt to even sip water. I really went through the "why did I do this to myself". Then a couple weeks after surgery I landed in the hospital with pneumonia. Eating is so different, which I expected...but I didn't expect it to be SO different. I guess before surgery I focused on all the GREAT things that would happen after I lost the weight, I forgot to think about all the stuff that would be gone (eating like a normal person). Things are looking up. I'm able to eat shaved turkey, which helps keep my energy levels up. I had my 4 week check up and have lost 28.4 pounds! Again, thanks for your kind words.
