Linda - I tried to send you an email last week, but my fingers goofed up your address (a hormone thing). What I had wanted to tell you was that I appreciate all ofyour posting and have looked at the links you have provided and I can't thank you enough. I have had so much time this past year to get info and get myself ready for this. Thank you for everything you bring to this site. Linda~ I just wanted to take the time to compliment you on how wonderful you look. I have been reading the message board regularly for about 4-5 months. Of course I have seen your posts frequently. Although much of what you say regarding nutrition post-op is foriegn to me since I am still pre-op, I most certainly plan to rely heavily on your experience and recommendations after surgery (if I am approved that is). I want to make the best of this if I am given the opportunity, and you are the inspiration for that. (and I don't want to lose any hair if I can help it) Congratulations to you! You've done an excellent job!

Linda, You look wonderful and are a true inspiration to us preops. I am 5'6 or 5'7 and currently around 255 or so. My biggest fear isn't even the complications - it's the saggy skin! You managed to avoid that beautifully! I will definitely try your Real Meals if it will help with that. Did you try any lotions besides? I have heard that lotion is a must once the weight starts coming off since our bodies will not be absorbing the fat and getting enough water is a struggle. Just curious since your body bounced back so well! Your story is inspiring and I will continue to look for updates on your site. THANKS!

Linda, WOW!! You look great. What a difference all your lost weight makes. I also had surgery in May. I am down around 132 lbs. I started a good bit higher than you but am close to your height. Man, I hope I can look as good as you do one day.

Linda Hello~~~thanks for that great posts about your children!! Would also like to let you know that I took your advise about Real Meals and have been having the protein drinks for about 6 weeks. I just love them just as they are with water. Much to my delight, my already thin hair has stopped falling out! Thanks for taking the time to post all that info regarding protein, hair loss and Real Meals.

WOW! LINDA, YOU LOOK GREAT!! CONGRATS!! I just read your post about your kids. Thanks for the laugh!! My 3 year old said the other day though, as I was sitting on the throne, "mommy, you have a big butt". Well, that was funny, but sad! Especially after losing 138#'s. I imagine even after I get to goal, that will always look big. Oh well....thanks for sharing your stories, it was cute.

Linda, you are a God send!!! You have saved me countless hours in research just in providing direction on where to look and what to look for!! Thank you so very much! Of course, I can't end this without telling you how great you look in the photo at 6 mnth post-op. And now down to a size 4? You go girl! Congratulations! Linda Hello~~~just wanted to stop by and thank you for all your info about Real Meals. After doing my homework, I ordered them. They taste just GREAT! Much, much better than ALL the other protein drinks that I have tried. Also, I have more energy than before and my scale is moving again!!
