My first step

I saw my PCP today and she is doing the referral to the bariatric department at the Geisinger Hospital.  Now I can get started with them and get the ball rolling, as they say.  I'm a little concerned about my insurance since I will be switching from my private insurance which I get through work to Medicare when I turn 65 in August.  But I'm sure they'll help me work it out.  As my granddaughter would say:  "I'm so excited!"
