6 Days Till My First Appointment..YAY!

..LOL I have never in my life been excited to start a diet. I do know that before going for WLS, I had to be mentally, emotionally, and physically ready 100%. It has taken me 5 years to get to this point, but with my supervised dieting, I feel I'm finally 100% ready for WLS! YAY!!!..

Hi, I'm Lisa..
After 20 years of suffering with my weight and 100's of diets, I have finally decided to have Gastric Bypass surgery. I have researched this for a few years, but I always thought I could lose the weight myself. Well, that NEVER happened. I went to a seminar 2 years ago, but left feeling scared and totally freaked out. This last year has proven to me that something has to finally be done. My health is now suffering. So, I went to another seminar on June 17th, and I called 5 days later and made my appointment with Dr. Dan. My appointment is Aug.27th and I'm getting so excited. I have all my papers and documents ready to go. I'm working now on some questions to ask, and I am so excited to finally get the ball rolling. The only thing that will really stress me out is the wait to hear if I get approved. OMG..I'm a stress eater, and I'll probably gain 10 pounds just waiting to hear something. 
A friend of mine named Anne just had her surgery 2 weeks ago with Dr. Dan, and she described this as a wonderful Journey, I think she is right and I'm ready to begin my Journey!
