Curves workout

10:00 am..................Breakstone cottage cheese w/blueberries
                    water     (20 oz.)
12:15 pm..................went to mexican restaurant for a birthday party
                                    ate way to many chips with salsa and then a
                                    chapula   
2:30 pm.....................2 prunes and more water time for bed!!!!

Overall I am feeling good about myself right with the workout and food chooses. Just hope I can keep it up.

June 10th, 2009......Got to get back to the basics

I am 5 years post op and have gained back about 40 lbs of the 124 I lost. I never reached my personal goal weight nor my doctors goal now that I think about it. My personal goal was 135 to 140 but I was happy to weigh under 200 lbs, something I don't ever remember  weighing. At 157 lbs all my family started saying that I was to thin for my height and I looked sick, I started feeling good about myself and started getting lax on what I was suppose to be doing. I started drinking sodas again, drinking when eating, sneaking in junk food (thinking it can't hurt me, I've had gastric bypass surgery) here and there until I would rather have that than enything else. To make a long story short....I STOPPED FOLLOWING THE RULES!!!!!!! I'm here to tell you once you stop following the rules it isn't the easiest thing to get back on track especially when nothing makes you sick and lets face it food taste good. I have noticed that most of the time I am not eating because I am hungry, I eat just to be eating, because I am bored, because something looks good and I have got STOP THIS NOW!!!!! So starting today I am going to try my best to get back to the basics, lose this weight, feel better about myself, and accomplish my goal 1 pound at a time. My mini goal will be 10 by August 10th. I will start writing down every bite of food that I eat each day to try to keep myself accountable. I have felt that if I didn't write it down I could just forget that I didn't have that donut, sandwich on white bread, hot dog with bun, etc.. So it's way past time for me to make these changes but changes are coming.

I work nights so I eat a little weird. I have always had a hard time figuring out to eat working  and sleeping the way I do but I have to figure it out and get to work.

when I got up 9:30 pm.............................water and 2 cups coffee
On the way to work 11:30 pm.................protein shake
From 12:30 to 4:00 am............................water (40 oz.)
4:30 am......................................................Cream of Broccoli soup w/ 5 whole wheat
                                                                        ritz crackers and 1 stick of string cheese
5:30 to 7:30 am..........................................water (20 oz)
8:00 am........................................................Fiber Plus bar, banana, & few cherries
9:00 am........................................................worked out at curves 20oz water after
10:00 am......................................................1 slice of wheat toast w/ tsp. naturally more PB
went to bed early today (11:30am) because Jordan and Trace had ball games. Got up at 4:30 pm
4:30 til 5:45...................................................coffee
7:00 pm..........................................................1/4 cup nut mix
8:30 pm..........................................................1 1/2 cups of chicken spaghetti w/ toasted wheat bun
back to bed for a nap before work.
