I am the youngest of 12 kids and have been overweight all of my life.  I have a 2 .5 year old son of whom I would like to see reach adulthood.  I want to run and play with him and not get winded or tired easily.  I want to sit on the floor and play with him without first having to think about back pain.  I want to see him grown up in to a strong Black man of faith with a family of his own.  If I don't do this surgery that will not happen.  I have tried many different diets and have yet to lose more than 20 - 30 lbs and keep it off longterm.  Now is the time for me to make a change toward a lifetime of health!  So the journey begins...
