Arthur B. Chasen

"My first impression of him was comforting. I found comfort in his knowledge and confidence.rnrnMy impression has not changedrnrnHis staff is a little frazzled and a bit unorganized, but their getting better.rnrnI least like that he is so busy that makes him a little unpersonable, but it is understandable. rnrnFuture patients should know that he is an amazing person who invests long term in his patients. That he comes highly reccomended.rnrnHe is hardcore into after care. He is in the hospital with you and preforms many followups. Also he makes sure you have a support system and provides one within the wls support group. rnrnI am not sure all of the program but during his classes and the classes wiht the diatition your are provided with a strick diet regiment. rnrnThe risks of surgery were addressed during his class. he provided risks, statistics and the what if's if you didn't do the surgery. rnrnrnI Rate him highly 1-10 he is and 11rnrnBoth surgical competence and bedside manner manner is great but if I had to choose one it would be surgical competence. I would perfrer somone who is good at what he does than a bedside friend!!rnrnrnUPDATE April 01 2009rnrnI have gottne to know Dr. chasen so much more since I wrote my first review. That review was written right after my surgery. I have expirenced many complication since my surgery. NONE are the fault of Dr. Chase or his surgery team at esinhower; however, Dr. Chase was always there when I needed him and he never never gave up... even when I was a mystery. As for his bed side manner when you get to know him and spend mroe time as his patient his is an amazing and godly man. I always felt safer when he was providing my care. He is truly concerned about his patients and he wants what is best for them. Dr. Chasen changed my life and I am extrealy greatful for this amazing doctor!!!! Thank you so much doctor chasen"
